Exploring the intertwined path in history between Welsh and Māori, celebrating the resilience to keep our identity, language, and whenua/land.

Despite both being so far away, Wales and Aotearoa have a shared, rich history in revitalising the importance culture identity through our language, a connection with land, people and to share our stories through the generations. The illustration honours my tīpuna/ancestors, whose strength paved the way for revitalising of our cultures in the face of the past (and present) of colonial rule.
