This exhibition featured artists from the QTBIPOC Collective – Āhua. We review the spaces we navigate as takatāpui and queer people of colour.
We will aim to decolonise ideas of creativity, gender, sexuality and culture through representation of our own Āhuatanga (how we present ourselves) and the futures we want for our queer whānau. The works will range from 3D skin design to painting and illustration, showcasing the multiple ways we can express ourselves and our culture.
